Thank you for your interest in serving on the CTA Board of Directors! This theatre group continues to grow, and it’s crucial we elect committed, engaged, and motivated board members to help this organization succeed.

Board Responsibilities

Attend all meetings—monthly and special.
Determine and supervise policy regarding CTA issues.
Serve on committees as needed or as appointed by the President.
Elect CTA officers yearly at September Board Meeting. Officers must be Board Members duly elected. Election takes place immediately after annual meeting in September (President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer).
Respond to or make public speaking engagements with various community organizations for the purpose of information about CTA history, activities, future plans, and fundraising.
Assist with Fund Drive activities; help with mailings, soliciting donations, etc.
Approve each season’s production schedule and directors.
Approve any changes for Productions.
Help on work/clean days.
Assume three months of maintenance duty each year.
Try to assume box office responsibility for at least one performance per production. (This includes monitoring performances for illegal photography and disruptive behavior and providing treats if needed.)
Accept the responsibility of being a mandatory reporter as defined by state law.

The CTA Mission Statement: to involve, educate, entertain, and enrich the Chequamegon Bay region through theatre arts.
